After two somewhat longer routes, now it’s time for a break. (The description of the route runs anti-clockwise).
After travelling from Kollnburg past Rechertsried towards Noßling, you can get a taste of what you are going to expect you this day. Bends curves and bends again. From Noßling to Rattenberg, several lookout points invite to a few short stops. Continuing on to Konzell, you reach Elizabethzell, a small village that offers the chance of a nice walk. Travelling across to Neukirchen, Obermühlbach and Perasdorf to Schwarzach, is just gigantic for every “bend and curve freaks”. Small but good roads, thread their way through both meadows and forests. The road leads you through Albert-ried and Bernried to Egg, where you should plan to take a break. A cappuccino in the garden with view of Castle Egg compensates for some of the torture. You return over Edenstetten, Kalteck and Achslach to Allersdorf. You’re now back in the district of Kollnburg and on the way there, you cross the Aitnachtal, one of the most beautiful valleys of the Bavarian forest. |
